Head's Welcome

On behalf of Hambrough Primary and Nursery School community I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website and thank you for your interest. We hope that this web site will act as a guide to the way the school strives to achieve it's vision of excellence and equality

By working in partnership we aim to raise our children to be happy, successful, independent and responsible learners who respect themselves and others within the community in which they live.

Hambrough generates an atmosphere of mutual respect where friendship, honesty and tolerance are valued

We are committed to the partnership of home, school and community and through all parties working together our children will be sure of success.

Here at Hambrough we ensure your child will be encouraged, motivated and guided to ensure that they develop their natural gifts and talents whilst becoming confident, independent learners who know how to make informed decisions about the choices they make in life.

I am proud to be the Head teacher of a thriving, learning community with supportive staff, governors and parents.

If you would like your child to join our school, do come and visit us but in the meantime please have a look around our website for a glimpse of what happens here.

If there is anything further we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

I look forward to meeting you.

Louise Singleton

Family- School Partnership Award

We are taking part in a new scheme being run in Ealing which will help us to think about how we work with families and support us to build stronger links between home and school.

We will be looking at lots of different areas including: the school environment; how we communicate and how we help you to support learning at home.

The first step is to gather the views of everyone involved in school life: parents and carers; all staff and Governors.

To help us make decisions about how we work in the future we need the views of as many parents as possible.  Please help by taking part in the online survey.  The short survey is anonymous and can be done online by following the following link:

Parents survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HambroughParents

It is open now and will close on 6th of July

Once we have the results we will let you know the areas we plan to work on – and we will keep you informed of our progress via emails and the school newsletter.  If you have any questions please contact:

We will be speaking to the children at some point and having a practice drill, over the course of next two weeks.
