PUPIL OUTCOMES 2018

Pupils at Hambrough have achieved well this school year. We have seen sustained results in many areas of the school, with significant improvements in attainment at greater depth for children at the end of Key Stage Two. This is as a result of effective teaching, the children’s passion for learning and the support from families at home.

Please see below our results for 2017/2018.

Early Years and Phonics

  • Children in Nursery and Reception are progressing well. 73% of children achieved a ‘Good Level of Development’ (GLD), this is in line with children nationally.
  • In Year 1, 88% of children successfully achieved the Phonics Standard and Hambrough was above median when compared with other Ealing schools.
  • In Year 2, 93% of children achieved the Phonics standard, this is an increase of 5% from the previous academic year.

One of our school’s priorities has been to increase the number of children achieving Greater Depth by the end of Key Stage Two. We are pleased to report that in Reading, Maths and Combined (RWM) we have increased the number of children achieving Greater Depth and in Writing and GPS we have maintained our results from the previous year.
