Hambrough Primary and Nursery School

At Hambrough we encourage children to take part in as many sporting activities as possible including during lunch time.

We are very lucky to have some year six children who have volunteered to be play leaders. Play Leaders are responsible for organising and playing games on a daily basis for children from Reception to year six. This includes familiar games such as ‘Traffic Lights’ and also games that involve equipment such as skipping. The children enjoy lunchtime so much more with the support of the play leaders and the use of the equipment.

The Change for Life Club takes place on Fridays at 12.30-1pm. It is led by a teacher with year five and six children assisting. Change for Life club is for the year three and four children to encourage them to be more active.  All involved do warm ups, cool downs and play a range of fun games.
