SAFEGUARDING WORKSHOPS FOR PARENTS - AUTUMN TERM 2021
17th September 2021
Dear parent/carer,
As a school we have been chosen to be part of an Ealing wide safeguarding project. This project has been funded through the John Lyons Charity and will be delivered in schools across Ealing, Brent and Harrow for the next three years. The project aims to support schools to develop a whole school approach to keeping children safe.
As you will be aware, safeguarding is at the fore of everything we do at Hambrough Primary and Nursery School, therefore we feel this project will build on the outstanding safeguarding work we already do and will ensure that pupils, staff, parents and governors have increased understanding of how to keep children safe.
As part of this project we will be running a series of parent workshops focused on keeping children safe. Each workshop will focus on a different aspect of safeguarding and parents who attend 3 or more workshops will receive a certificate of completion.
Below are the dates and topics for the workshops at our school. Each workshop will start at 9am and will last for approximately 40 minutes.
The workshops will be held in the main hall, entry via the garden gate. Thank you for your continued cooperation and support,
