The fixed points of the school day are as follows:
Nursery:
08.45 a.m. to 11.45 a.m OR 12.45 p.m. to 3.45 p.m.
Reception
8.55 a.m. - School begins
10.30 to 10.45 a.m. - Morning playtime
12.00 to 1.00 p.m. - Lunch break
2.35 to 2.45 p.m. - Afternoon playtime
3.30 p.m. - School finishes
KS 1 (Years 1 & 2)
8.55 a.m. - School begins
10.30 to 10.45 a.m. - Morning playtime
12.00 to 1.00 p.m. - Lunch break
2.35 to 2.45 p.m. - Afternoon playtime
3.30 p.m. - School finishes
KS2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6):
8.55 a.m. - School begins
10.30 to 10.45 a.m. - Morning playtime
12.00 to 1.00 p.m. - Lunch break
3.30 p.m. - School finishes
This amounts to a total time in school of a minimum of 32.5 hours a week. Hambrough operates a soft start from 08.45am and children may enter their classes from this time.
The school finishes at 3.30p.m and children should be collected promptly at this time unless they are attending an extended curriclum club or staying in the afterschool child-care club. If you are late due to an emergency please ring the school. Your child will wait in the school office.
