Parent Worshops

Contact Ealing with Southall Alliance would like to share the below information about two of our upcoming free events for Ealing parents and carers raising children with special educational needs and disabilities, aged 0-25 years.

In addition, please find attached the parent / carer registration form for new parent referrals (note, parents can also self-refer) and the Autumn 2022 timetable of events and workshops.

Ealing speech and language therapy team will be running the following free, online parent workshop.

Ealing Speech and Language service are  excited to share with you their Speech and Language Therapy Workshops for Spring Term 2023. 

Any family to access the below, online workshops - they do not need a referral to access these services.

They have new workshops, including:

  • An Introduction to Speech and Language Therapy ", which practitioners can also attend
  • Secondary school: supporting communication and independence

Our school partners – ConnectEd mental health service in our school are offering parent/carer workshops which explore the impact of the pandemic on children’s mental health and wellbeing.

Workshop will cover the following:

  1. Supporting your child’s Emotional Wellbeing
  2. Supporting your child to manage anxious feelings  
  3. Looking after our mental health
