All children at Hambrough have access to this fantastic website which involves children in active learning to strengthen and develop their reading and maths skills.
Children have their own unique school user name and password to enter this site. This should be found in your child’s reading record, if not please speak to your child’s class teacher.
When children log in to the website they will have access to their own interactive pupil world which includes:
- Bug Club - children can read suitable books allocated by their class teacher.
Children can develop their reading skills by reading the texts and answering a range of questions based on comprehension, inference, themes, structure, language and their own responses to the text.
- Abacus - to help children make sense of and practice their maths. Abacus provides a combination of maths games, interactive activities and pupil videos.
After completing activities, children are rewarded with tokens they can spend in games zones.
Teachers can track when and how your child has completed their activities.
